Rawson's Department Store in Okanogan

About Rawson's

3 generations of customer service

Rawson's was founded almost 60 years ago by Robert G. Rawson and his wife Helen Rawson.

Bob Rawson started his retail career working for JC Penney Co. and Casey's in Spokane and Colville, and then for C. E. Blackwell Co. in Okanogan. When he opened his own store in 1950, he was well-known in the community and brought many loyal customers with him from his previous employment. From the store's beginnings in a 25 by 50 foot space, with merchandise stacked to the ceilings, to this day, customer service has been the key to Rawson's success.

Richard and Bonnie Rawson joined Rawson's in 1971 after college and Richard's stint in the US Army. Mark Rawson, the third generation in the Rawson family of merchants, has been a solid member of the management team for years.

A family-owned, independent retailer, we are one of the area's oldest clothing stores. Our staff love serving their friends and neighbors.  If you live in Okanogan County, chances are you have shopped at Rawson's, and you know that we are constantly scouring the marketplace to bring our customers the highest quality shoes, boots, and clothing we can find.
